Exercise Ball Cover by Birthplace

Chances are you’ve been using an exercise ball to get your baby in to a good position for birth, you may also have heard of the many ways you can use an exercise ball during labour and birth. Using a ball during labour is considered upright labouring and can help to reduce the length of your labour.
I used a ball everyday in my third trimester. I took it to hospital with me to avoid being without a ball during labour. I recall sticking to the ball in the middle of summer and it being hard to move around the room. This cover solves both of those issues and it also makes the easier on the eye because the fabric is gorgeous.

9 Reasons to cover your exercise ball for birth | Birthplace Yoga Ball Cover

  1. Sweat, oils and and fluids can make an uncovered ball slippery
  2. A covered ball won’t stick to your bum when you stand up
  3. Snuggle up and cuddle your ball without sticking to it
  4. Carry and transport your ball easily with the handle
  5. Hang your ball out of the way if need be
  6. Nicer to look at home and personalises you birth environment
  7. Easy and quick to use
  8. Your ball won’t be mixed up with hospital equipment
  9. Easy to remove and wash if necessary

Our cover can be used on a yoga bolster, peanut ball or hospital yoga ball.
